I work from the premise of self-determination.
The nature of insurance removes client and therapist control over the length and number of sessions, the modalities we use and the goals we target.
I believe you KNOW you. I believe I KNOW therapy. In my estimation, this means you and I work together to find what works best for you.
I also believe people should access mental wellness services, if available, before they reach an "illness" point.
Because I don't accept insurance, I can serve the mental wellness community!
This also means you are in control of your appointment frequency and when you have reached goals and are finished.
Appointment length:
45-70 minutes.
Individual session: $130
Sliding Scale:
$60-100 based on need.
I believe mental wellness should be a priority, no matter what your financial situation. Gaining Insight, LLC is committed to offering reduced fee appointments, based on income, as availability allows.
Initial diagnostic assessment: $150 up to 90 minutes
Gaining Insight, LLC does not provide documentation or testimony for custody cases, divorce cases, CPS cases, and/or service animals.
If subpoenaed by legal counsel, documentation/appearance fee for claims will be billed to legal counsel: $200/hr
The journey to enhance your mental wellness is very personal. The first step in that journey is self determination and finding what works for you.
If after our initial consultation to assess needs and goals, you make the decision to continue therapy with Gaining Insight, LLC, you will have a choice of in person, video, phone or while taking a walk in nature!
Individuals experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after traumatic events. We can work together to help you overcome these symptoms and find your path through the process of grief and healing.
Life is unpredictable. Experiencing uncomfortable emotions during difficult times in our life is inevitable. Learning to process these emotions in a supportive environment is essential to maintain our health.
Through mental wellness therapy, we are able to recover motivation, regain perspective, and envision the life you want to create.
Together, we will identify goals that are achievable and utilize your own unique strengths to reach them.
Movement and nature can impact our mental health in a positive manner.
